A personification of the Chinese insult 日本鬼子/rìběn guǐzi ("nihon onigo" in Japanese), which means "Japanese Devils." Her name is derived from an alternative reading of the characters, where 日本 = "Hinomoto" and 鬼子 = "Oniko."
