Animated Portable Network Graphics, Extension to the original PNG image format allowing for saving animations with truealpha color palette (as opposed to GIF with its max 255 colors + 1 alpha).
This format is supported by default by Mozilla Firefox (3.0+), Opera (9.5 - 12.1, 46.0+), Safari (8.0+), and Google Chrome (59.0+).
